I have the opportunity to observe how a nest was built by a pair of birds. It was intricately laid with the coarser leaves as foundation and the finer ones to line the inside. It was a tedious job and the birds can only carry the leaf one at a time. It was a no mean feat by such a small creature.

Pak Zawi, thanks for the visit and sharing your thoughts on the subject of this posting.

Great to know that you saw the whole process of Bird building its nest. How I wished I got to see it too. It used its ingenuity to construct such a sophisticate nesting area especially the one built by the Weaver Bird.

I have two Weaver Bird nest [burung tempua] hanging at the front of my patio and the image you saw is part of that nest. If Animals and insects could create such unique home there are no reason why should not learn from it.

Have a nice day.

Wonderful how something as small and fragile as a bird can build something so complex and so beautiful. Such is a parents' love! They want the best for their children!

~Covert_Operations'78~, Ee Lynn thanks for the visit and sharing your thoughts on the subject of this posting.

Actually we could learn many things from Nature and the way plant and animals live in harmony with its environment. It does not waste or destroy the environment to create its habitat. Like this bird it construct its nest from recycled material and did it without the fanfare that our species did all the time. It is time that we listen and learn from the other species. And like you said it is all because of Love.

Have a nice day.

Assalamu'alaikum Pak Idrus

Lama tak ketemu. The weavers certainly know better about green homes. I enjoyed reading your 'Tg Piai trip'. That's one of those places that I'd like to visit one of these days. Dekat, tapi masih jauh! Sorry about the passing away of your blogger friend, Louise, recently.

Temuk, thanks for the visit and sharing your thoughts on the subject of my recent posting. Well Tg.Piai is indeed a great place to visit. They should build a road right after the Second Link so that that Landmark is easily accessible to tourists. As it is now it takes some one an half hours to get there from the Second Link. Anyway I got to see it and love what I saw. Hope you get to go there soon.

As for Louis well life is like that, we came and then we go. I do missed him though.

Have a nice day.
